Jack Crans’ long held vision to develop the part of Camp at Old Mill that lies between the northern bank of the West Branch of the Brandywine River and the bed of the former Reading-Baltimore railway track has finally been realized.
Gifted artisans Leon Brubaker and Richard Dickens volunteered their time and skills to construct a beautiful two-direction foot bridge with a total span of 50 feet. The construction of the bridge was completed on Tuesday, October 23, 2012
Access to the other side of the creek now creates many exciting opportunities for adventure including hiking trials and a sheltered gazebo.
